Points communs

On m'a posé la question suivante: pourquoi veux-tu apprendre le japonais? pour la beauté de la langue? leur alphabet qui est différent du nôtre? les mangas?
Ma réponse serait: un peu de tout cela.
Aussi loin que remontent mes souvenirs, j'ai appris que la langue japonaise est encline aux images et métaphores.
Durant mon année écossaise, des amis m'ont dit que les français aimaient beaucoup utiliser des images ou des métaphores pour s'exprimer.
C'est vrai que ce sont des exercices de style que j'utilise dans mon quotidien, sans y prêter une attention particulière. Je trouve par ailleurs, que nous l'utilisons plus spontanément à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.
Si la langue japonaise tout comme la langue française est encline à ces jeux de mots, cela me donne envie de l'apprendre pour pouvoir voir toute la richesse qu'elle possède.

Je pense que la passion pour la langue du soleil levant de la part des lecteurs français des mangas viendraient de cette recherche: comprendre la subtilité des dialogues de leurs lectures qu'ils retrouvent dans les bandes dessinées françaises.

I have been asked about this: why do you want to learn japanese? the alphabet is not the same? mangas?
My answer should be: a mix of all.
As far as my memories are, I have learnt that Japanese language is familiar with images and metaphors.
For my Scottish year, friends told me that French people like using images and metaphors to express themselves.
It is true I am using them in my daily life, no particular intention doing it. My point point of view is French people use metaphors more spontaneously in talk than in writing.
If japanese as french do use those beautiful wordplays, I am more motivated to learn japanese and to know more about the richness of this language.

Perhaps the passion for the language of the land of the rising sun that the French mangas readers have, comes from this research: to understand all the nuances of the dialogues of their readings they can find in French bandes dessinées.

Le H

Ayant un peu parlé anglais vendredi, j'ai pu constater qu'un de mes soucis par rapport à mon accent c'est de ne pas prononcer les H.
Je me demande d'où cela vient-il? De notre langue française moderne ou de notre apprentissage de langues étrangères?
En tout cas un problème à résoudre pour une meilleure prononciation et de meilleurs échanges verbaux ^^

Eclipse

On news I have watched the solar eclipse in Asia. It is quite impressive.
The day becoming dark will be a good experience, I think.
The solar eclipse always intrigue people and belief. This astronomical event can be a bad or good luck depending where you come from and what is your belief.
Eclipse is a natural phenomenon which is used by every sort of culture and arts like music. And it is also used in books. For example in the French book with the hero Tintin (it's a kind of French comic book called bande-dessinée), Tintin saved his friend and himself when they were kidnapped by a total solar eclipse.
En regardant les nouvelles télévisées, j'ai appris qu'il y avait eu une éclipse solaire en Asie. C'est assez impressionnant. Le jour devenant noir doit être une belle expérience à vivre, non?
L'éclipse solaire a toujours intrigué les gens et les croyances. Cet évènement astronomique est malchanceux ou chanceux selon d'où vous venez et ce que vous croyez.
L'éclipse est un phénomène naturel qui est utilisé/cité par différentes cultures et par les arts comme la musique. C'est également utilisé comme évènement dans de nombreux romans et livres... Par exemple dans la bande dessinée Tintin (celui où il va en pays Maya chercher son ami le Professeur Tournesol qui a été kidnappé), Tintin sauve ses amis et lui-même du bûcher grâce à l'apparition d'une éclipse solaire.

Nabe ou comment avoir faim quand il fait froid en été

Hier soir j'ai regardé une émission qui parlait d'un plat typiquement japonais: le nabe. En saison estivale, il est vrai que cela pourrait vous donner l'appétit sans pour autant vouloir en manger, mais avec le temps de ces derniers jours, je crois que ce plat serait parfait.
Pour ceux qui ne le connaîtraient pas, c'est un plat de saison hivernale. Sur un réchaud, on place une grande marmite où il y a un bouillon ou de l'eau dans laquelle on a ajouté des algues séchées. Puis on y place au fur à mesure les différents ingrédients choisis (en fait le nabe est typique à chaque région, boeuf, poisson, légumes...) c'est un peu un mix entre notre pot au feu et fondue. Que je m'explique: faire cuire ensemble légumes et viandes/poissons me fait penser à un pot au feu dont la recette varie selon chaque région, et le côté convivial qui réunit tout le monde autour du même repas me fait penser à la fondue. Ah oui, à la fin du repas avec le fond de sauce restant, on y ajoute du riz préparé d'une certaine manière pour utiliser jusqu'à la dernière goutte cet excellent nabe^^

Spirited away

This morning, I ate my breakfast watching Spirited away.
I really like the movie. The drawings are beautiful and made my spirit up ^^
But I wonder how do they feel having a bath in a bath house? I am sure on of the first things I will do when I get the opportunity to go to Japan is to go to an onsen.
The mystery, the feeling and the wellbeing should be so great...
OK that is my thought of this sunday. Now I have to go back to my sunday schedule ~ ironing time :(

Le jardin me manque

Avec ces ondées passagères, lorsque je vais au travail, je passe par une forêt qui sent bon le sous-bois. Ca me rappelle le jardin familial qui doit regorger d'arbres en fleurs et de fruits de saisons ^^
Rien que d'imaginer les roses trémières, l'herbe fraichement coupée sur laquelle on s'allonge pour lire un livre, entendre le chant du vent et des oiseaux... vivement fin aout que je revienne dans le marais poitevin pour respirer du bon air (celui de Rouen est plutôt réputer pour sa pollution).

Liberty of art or 'Sale Pute'(Dirty Slut)

I have read an article about a festival in my hometown: La Rochelle.
I do have respect for artist and being free to express all kind of feelings. But in a matter of fact, I have always noticed that French has a rich language to express anything with no vulgarity.
Even if the song is about cheating, there is so much more than using slangs in a song. Even for a young adult or old teenager (that is how you prefer to see a 26 years old man).
If I was him, the rap singer, I will be ashamed to be known as the one who did the centre of a national debate over censorship and not known by my talent and my songs.
That's true. Orelsan is not as famous as Eminem in France. To make a boycott of several known and respected festivals just because they don't want to name every girl who did a mistake a slut, this is stupid.
My point of view is not really objective. I agree with that. The rap singer is from Normandy, he has a complex about the Capital, as a lot of young provincial people who do not have ambition, dream, or the will to make something of their lives...
I think this controversy shows one of real problems in France: the generation of the 20-30 years old who grew up in an environment of freedom, with no true values of respect, benchmark of life... They don't know there are more than two levels of French language, and our power of words come from this wealth.
The funny thing is that the politicians who are in shock about the ban, are the parents who will punish their children if they express themselves to the world like the rap singer.
